Un’esplorazione creativa della lingua inglese tramite il teatro. Attraverso una serie di giochi e improvvisazioni, i bambini verranno guidati a imparare e usare competenze di base della lingua inglese, come introduzione di sé, delle parti del corpo, direzioni, numeri, colori e simultaneamente a creare un spettacolo teatrale che verrà presentato alla fine del corso.
A creative exploration of the english language through the vehicle of theatre. Through a series of improvisational games and exercises, kids will learn and practice basic english language skills such as introducing oneself, parts of the body, directions, and telling time, and simultaneously build a theatrical performance to be presented at the end of the course.
Melanie Neu è nata a New York e abita ad Arezzo dal 2011. Ha studiato teatro, danza, musica e uso della maschera fin dall’infanzia. Negli Stati Uniti e in Europa ha presentato, insegnato e svolto workshop di teatro per bambini e adulti. Ha realizzato spettacoli originali per 6 anni. Dopo aver acquisito il titolo di “Artist in Residence” presso l’ Accademia dell’Arte nell’anno 2012/2013, attualmente tiene il “Technical Director” dell’Accademia dell’Arte stessa ed è responsabile della tecnica, degli spazi, la fotografia, la videografia e la creazione di Cabaret realizzati dagli studenti. Melanie si è diplomata (BFA in Acting) alla Boston University.
Melanie Neu was born in New York and has lived in Arezzo since 2011, and has studied theatre, dance, mask-making, and music since a young age. In both the United States and Europe, she has performed and taught theatre classes and workshops for children and adults, and has been devising original works for 6 years. After serving as “Artist in Residence” at the Accademia dell’Arte from 2012-2013, she now holds the title of “Technical Director” and is in charge of technical requirements for the spaces, photography, videography, and the creation of student cabarets, among other things. She holds a BFA in Acting from Boston University.
